2013.. a new year in the making!

2013 didn't start off as well with all the viral bugs floating in the air.  However, there were things to celebrate.  Laura got good news as she recieved a satisfactory evaluation. It certainly has been a very busy year for her.  Abram is getting ready to pick up some more responsibilities at his job.  Colin has been suprising his day care teachers. Apparently he hasn't been talking like he does at home.  Out of the blue, he voiced clear as day to his teacher "I want breakfast."  She did say to me today, that he is different when Dad orMom walk into the daycare. He becomes more verbal. 

We think it is taking him to get used to the older toddler room because the younger day care teacher wasnt surprised. Hopefully with the fact that he is likely to remain in that room til 3 he will have more time to get acquainted with the teacher. She did give us a good report that she can tell that Daddy and I are teaching manners. Only him and one of the other students of the toddlers she has, always says thank you. She said he's funny because he will continue to say thankyou until you say your welcome.  That much is true at home. lol. 

He has been experiencing a lot of changes at home. He has changed his crib into a toddler bed.  He's done well with the transition. He loves his new tent that has become our reading area.  He also enjoys sleeping in his bed. He doesn't get out yet from the bed, until we enter.  So that much has gone well. He assists with making his bed in the morning. He loves his Mom's new IPhone almost as much as Dad! :)
