Update on Colin

Colin has run high fevers the past 3 days. I'm hoping we will see the end very soon.  If it persists into Thursday it will be another trip to doctors and then blood work.  When ever they mention blood work with flus its always this question of white blood and a fluke incident or something more.  Recently Laura has had other employees who are parents ask why he keeps running fevers like this and so frequently.  We figure he is around other children, he is a kid, and he probably had the misfortune to end up with his Mom's immune system. But maybe we are wrong and there is something weird.  We do know that allergies and asthma can play a part.  We are praying for our happy go easy son to return to his normal fever free boyish self with a appetite that could surprise many.  We pray there is no need for blood work.  If the fever won't go away we pray the white blood count doesn't drop and that we have to see the pediatric ward.
