There shall be photos of the front of the house, and photos from this past weekend to share. I have to find my camera chord which I'm sure is boxed up still, it is a matter of which box. SO I probably will end up with two July 4th postings. I guess you can call this the boring post since there isn't any neat photos. Oh well.. sorry.
This weekend was fun and over too soon. Wednesday evening after getting the cats all rounded up and things into the car we headed to King of Prussia. We met my parents whom asked if we could meet for a bite to eat before getting on the road. We went to Chile's where I got to see my sister and her fiance. My parents kindly took the two cats to their house for the weekend. We left KOP at around 11:30 at night. This was much later than I had anticipated or had hoped to get underway.
My husband toughed out the long drive late at night. We reached Richmond around 3:30 am. I actually managed to stay awake for most of the ride. I did unfortunately fall asleep for 30 minutes of the actual trip. Whooo for me. This may not seem like a big accomplishment, but I have this thing known as the Ertel syndrom. I sleep and sleep and sleep.
We found a hotel because we were not a 100% sure if his family thought we would arrive that night due to the hour. The bed sheets must have had strong chemicals because the next morning I woke with a huge red rash on my chest. I didn't know it was there until my husband says "What's wrong with your chest?". I'm like.. uh nothing. I was happy to discover that later it was no longer there. Good no worries of it showing when wearing a bathing suit.
We managed to reach our destination at around 11:30 in the afternoon. The older nieces of my brother-in laws were staying at Mom and Dad's house while their parents were at a conference. It was neat to have the opportunity to spend quality time with our neices. The distance makes it hard, but it is nice when we get the opportunity to spend quality time with family.
I managed to help Mom with the camera and computer a little. I hope I gave her a little assistance. The computer was acting a bit sluggish and for some reason would not send an e-mail that should have worked. I think it was a mix of computer and internet server that was creating a small problem. Oh well. At some point I will create a picturized version of hooking up and downloading photos. It isn't the same camera, but I'm pretty sure, it would be helpful to her.
I also got to spend time with my other nieces and nephews. I finally met Eva the newest addition to the Campbell residence. She looks sooo much like her mother. She is a real cutie.
There will be more details once photo camera chord is discovered.
