Call to action

The government is working to release regulations that would allow healthcare providers (like hospitals) to refuse to provide contraception to women who need it. This should not go by quietly. For individuals that are raped this would be a harsh reality especially when the medication they are giving would stop a possible pregancy from occuring. Denying these women rights to the emergency contraceptives should be considered a crime. The emergency contraceptive can't take away the pain or symptoms of rape, but not having access would make the healing process so much more difficult and only add unnecessary suffering.
