I wish I had brought my camera out. My husband and I went for pizza in York at a place called Stevie's. It was a nice buffet place. I have never had pizza with pasta as the topping. Let me just say, we will be going again. Afterwards, we returned home and sat on our deck and enjoyed fireworks from the local carnival. We didn't have to pay for parking to watch the fireworks. We had a nice view from where we sat. It was also nice because at points it started to drizzle. My baby and I could go inside and down stairs under the deck for a view without getting wet. All the people that had paid for parking, probably felt obliged to at least sit in the car if the rain was getting to them. It was a nice surprise to find that we could watch fireworks from our decks. I am one whom hates the noise, but you can enjoy the fireworks without hearing them. It reminds me of when I was younger.
My Dad's office in California had a beautiful view. I remember how one fourth of July, my Dad, Mom, and I went for take out. We picked up food and then returned to his office to watch fireworks. We had the best view in the city. It was beautiful and the time with my parents will always stay with me.
