Colin is becoming a big boy!!

Saturday began the potty training regimen..

We are trying to copy what they will do at the Daycare so that there isn't too much differences and transitions for our little boy. The only direction is:

Every 20 minutes they try to get them on the toilet.

We started off with a naked morning. We got him to sit on the toilet and then got him to sit on it.  Then every twenty minutes we placed him on. He had the chance to earn a sticker for sitting on the toilet. For every additional 2 minutes he could earn another sticker.  He sat for about 5-10 minutes. We were quite impressed. We had  2 pee messes on the floor.  Then we got him back in a diaper and headed to Friendly's (which shouldn't be confused with the ones in Bucks County). Then we let him nap while we got him ready to go to a baby sitter because we had a wedding to attend.

Sunday
It was a day for errands for us after a morning start with the potty training. We got training pants which are slightly big because the smallest size is 2 T and the weight is for someone a bit bigger.  After we got home, he went through about 4 training pants before bed time.

Monday Morning:
A mess on the rug after taking him off the toilet. He had awaken with a wet diaper. No success.  Oh well.

Monday afternoon

"Go Potty Go" - we put that on the television and put him in a pair of training pants. He actually walked to the potty himself and was trying to pull those pants down himself.  He went number 2.  "Celebration one." He did a little more with the number 2.

We didn't have any pee mess or accidents and no pee in the toilet but we think that we are making progress.  Congrats to our baby boy. While you are growing up, you will always be our baby boy.
