August is all about new beginnings. A new school year for both Abram and I. We are excited about what the year has to offer us. Watching Colin grow has been a blessing. I can't believe he is almost one. It really doesn't seem that long ago, that I was at the hospital holding him in my arms for the first time.
Abram's parents are up with us for a few days. Its been nice spending some quality time with them as we don't get to see each other often due to the distance. We soo appreciate Mom and Dad for all their help with the baby gates and dinner and soo much more.
Abram and I have been busy on our garage and house. We are reorganizing a lot of things that should have been done. I'm on the path of going through stuff and saying "Have we really used this and will we really use it" toss. I've also been getting ready for the new year. Preparing documents and things for the classroom. That includes a little bit of shopping, but I haven't done anything with the things we bought incase I can find better deals or find a way to get something for free that is just as good.
We are beginning to make plans for Colins first birthday. We will be sending out a save the date to folks once we have a finalized date. We are trying. Unfortunately the Bloomsburg fair pairs up with his birthday. So the big ? is do the big party a weekend before, a weekend afterwards, on Sunday. So we'll be working that out as time allows.
There is soo much going on. We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer.
