July 2011

Can you believe it is already July? Laura is working Extended School Year for the summer. It keeps her busy 2 days of the week. When she isn't working with students, she's helping her sister out with caring for her nephew. She has really enjoyed being able to have more time to interact with Colin. Abram finally finished up a final for his Spring classes at Drexel. He is currently awaiting for his car to be fixed up. We had the timing belt replaced because we were told it was due. Well, the new timing belt blew, causing lots of damage. Lucky for us the damage, should be covered by the warranty of the part.

As for Colin. He's 9 months old. He has four teeth currently (2 top and 2 on the bottom). He is working on two side teeth. He has shown a new interest in cheerios. He's also shown an interest in fish crackers, but we aren't quite at that point. For the past 5 months he's been working on standing and loves this position. Today he did 5 seconds without my hands on his waste. So we're sure the we are entering the next phase of mobility.

July 2011 will probably go down in history as the month and year where our judicial system angered and failed us. A mother of a toddler, who killed her daughter, was acquitted and will be walking in a week. Of course there is Independance Day!
Which was nice with family for us!

We hope everyone had a nice 4th of July and that you are in good health.
