Summer has ended

Summer has ended. Labor Day weekend is here. I have finished my first week back into the 09-10 school year and Abram is getting ready for school. A lot has been happening in our neck of the woods. After three years of working for the Harrisburg School District, I received tenure. This means I can apply for my stage 2 teaching certificate. I have the same six students I had last year. It is amazing what a summer can do to an individual when their growing.

Abram and I are adjusting to the new schedule for the school year. The weekly or bi-weekly trips to Doylestown for Physical Therapy are going to add a new twist. Also, we are preparing for our new niece or nephew, which is due the first two weeks of December.

We are also getting our basement completed. We have the blueprints. I am so excited because I will have my first laundry room. We are putting counter space in our laundry room and possibly cabinets. We are really excited. We will be using our first-time home buyer's money for the finishing of our basement. It feels like a dream come true.
