A Visit to the Emergency Room

Yesterday, Abram called home with obvious tone of "something wasn't right". His right side was having severe pain. He described it to be the same level of pain as when he had appendicitis. While I was at an appointment, my husband called the family doctor whom told him to go to the Emergency room. My Dad took him over and I met them over there after the appointment. They did an ultrasound, blood, urine sample, and chest x-ray. His blood work revealed a above normal white blood count and with a slight temperature made the doctor suspect a possible infection. After being at the ER for many hours, we were sent home with a pain medication, a recommendation to see the doctor or back to the ER if pain persisted and medication incase the problem was connected to an ulcer.

He's at my parents laying around with a diet of fluids. We will be going to the family doctor tomorrow to deal with the mystery of the pain. The level has been down with medication. I keep praying for answers and solution. It has been three days of pain, but yesterday and today the pain hasn't really dissipated to nothing. At least today the levels are not as high (that is with no movement).
