Laura has been doing well with the hives. While there is a slight mild case that came about, we are certain about the cause. So she will wait about 2-3 months and give it another try with the root cause and if it happens again. Well bye-bye forever. She isn't too disappointed. Colin is doing well. Colin has really grown in language and vocabulary. He is telling and making up stories.
Quotes from Colin:
"I need a rocketship.
Mom: Why do you want a rocketship?"
Colin: Go to the moon."
Read a book to Colin with Donald duck and a game with a cat. After reading the story, Colin precedes to turn pages and comments on the pictures and not on the words or things he heard me saying.
picture of a cat pulling a toy: Cat pulling a dog (dog was the toy).
picture with the cat on the window sill:
Mom: Colin what is the cat sitting on?
Colin: ::ignoring mom's request of the vocab word that she has seen him say previously:: Penguin higher than the cat.
Mom:: getting ready to say.. um no and then notices that in the picture there is a picture frame with penguins that is on the wall higher than the cat on the windowsill.
Visiting a friend with a baby:
The baby is in the bed.
The baby is out of the bed. The baby is eating.
Another rocketship conversation:
Colin: Mommy, I need a spaceship go to the moon.
Mom: Why are you going to the moon?
Colin: Mickey Mouse ball on moon.
Mom: oh :: I guess he must have seen a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse edition with space.. : I'll get right on that dear.
So yes he's a talkative, creative, and energetic little boy. He doesn't let his asthma slow him down :)
Looking forward to the spring months ahead.
