Happy Easter

Happy Easter to All!

Harrisburg School District students and staff have a nice Easter break this year. The students have to come in for one half day a the end of the year, but they get to enjoy the Easter festivities. I have been at home working on school related things and working on stuff around the house. I also have managed to find time to read. Recently I read "The Associate-Grisham", "The Dead Book" and "Scarpetta"-Patricia Cornwall, and "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult.

Nineteen Minutes was the second Jodi Picoult book I've read. I really enjoyed it and look forward to more books from her. The first Picoult book I read was "My Sister's Keeper". I'm a little disappointed that there are not any more Cornwall books to read. I've read all of her books so there is nothing left to touch in that series. I probably will go back and re-read some of the books. I love her writing style and the characters she creates.

I have mixed feelings on John Grisham. I've read almost all of his books and lately his writing isn't up to what it use to be. Don't get me wrong. Their good, but not quite like I remember them. Or maybe it's because my preference in writing styles has chnaged. I'm not sure. It's just they don't have the same impact as some of his earlier books. I'm currently reading "The Appeal" by John Grisham.

I haven't read in a while for various reasons. The main being I have been soo busy. I haven't had a chance to pick up a book and just enjoy it. As for my husband, he has off on Friday and we are looking forward to a 3 day weekend together. Unfortunately, it feels like these six days are passing faster than I expected.

I look forward to spending Easter with my parents.

Happy Easter to all..
