Welcome 2009 - Happy New Years

Abram and I can feel the end of the holidays closing in on us. We both start back to work on Monday. Abram also begins back to classes on Monday. He has classes Monday and Tuesday evenings. We spent the holidays with family in Doylestown. Today, we will return home where we will be putting our tree down, doing house work, and setting up the Blu-Ray player that we recently got at Costco. Funny story, we were looking Blu-Rays for 277 and Abram decides we can splurge a little and get one. Well he picks up the box on top, and plastered it across it was another model for 30 dollars cheaper.

SO now we are the proud owners of a pansonic Blu-Ray player. Assuming it fits and works with television. We will be keeping it. I will be spending time, getting acquainted with our new microwave which has a lot of features our old one didn't. It's probably because the previous microwave was at least 27 years old. We've been using it since we were in Danville, PA. Our cats will be happy to return to the house where they will have full access to the human population. However, Amie did not mind all the birds that came to visit my parents place, while my sister and her husband went to Pittsburg for New Year's Day.

Our vacation has been filled of games, movie nights, cooking, baking, and quality time with family. There was also a celebration meal for Abram's first set of classes, with a lobster dish! Unfortunately, I was sick Christmas Day and for the week after Christmas. But fortunately, minus a small allergy cough, I am feeling back to my old self. Let's hope my husband isn't getting the same bug I had. He has been complaining of some sore throats.

We hope the Holidays treated everyone well. Happy New Years
