Deja Vu

The It person for the building was in my room. He was confused because everything worked fine. He got my computer back and running. He told me not to turn off my computer until the end of the day. I did that. Got home. Got all excited and hopeful and was presented with the blue screen of death. Oh well.

I've started my bulletin board for the school year. "We are a community of Learners". Nothing original about that statement, but it is the most actual reflection of our room. I always want to present myself as a learner to my students. I want them to learn that there is never a time you stop learning and that you can make mistakes. Making a mistake is not a problem. It is important what you do afterwards to correct the situation. So I have the title of our board and now I have to have the students complete their portion.

The Intermediate Unit teacher is coming tomorrow. It will be a new person this year. I'm excited to meet them. My husband got his new glasses. I'll have to put a picture up of him with his new glasses. No more tape on the outside. He looks really cute with them on and so studius. School starts for him soon. He was so excited about the start of class, he actually took a day off work.

This weekend we will probably be looking at some old cars to commute from the house to the train. Wish us luck. :-D
